A First Birthday Celebration

First birthday sessions are a major milestone celebration, that I love to photograph at my studio. These birthday sessions can be part of the PRO, GEM or LUX packages, depending on how many images you want and how much time you’d like to spend at your session.

Outfit options are available for baby to wear, during your shoot. When you come for a consultation you can take a look through my client closet at the available outfits for baby’s first birthday session.

Birthday sessions begin with family photos in my lifestyle faux bedroom set up. Baby can swing in the macrame swing and you can cuddle on the bed together as I capture your natural interactions. From there we move into the birthday set, which includes a banner selection. It can be a balloon garland (as shown in this session) or a paper banner, or faux greenery. I will capture some clean photos of baby and then, if you have brought a cake, baby gets to dive in as I capture his reactions. Cakes are not provided but I have a few baker recommendations, should you like to bring one to your session. Following the cake smash, is a little bath shoot, to finalize your first birthday celebration.

In the week following your session, you will return to the studio to see your images and make your selections. Every client will take home a print box of 4×6 images, and a USB of your selected digital images. The quantities are determined by your package selection. Should you want more images, at your ordering appointment, you can upgrade your package or purchase digitals individually. Product prices are in the catalogue you will receive, at your consultation appointment.

If you are interested in a birthday celebration for your little one, go to my contact form and fill it out to schedule your consultation. I recommend birthday sessions are booked at least 1 month before your child’s birthday, in order to get on my schedule and order a cake from your selected baker.
