Don’t Wait Until Baby Arrives to Book Your Newborn Session

By the time you’re holding your baby, it may already be too late to get on my calendar.

If you’re expecting, this is your reminder to book your newborn session before your baby is born.

The first two weeks of life are the ideal time for those sleepy, curled-up newborn portraits that parents fall in love with. Because I only accept a limited number of newborns each month, my calendar often fills weeks—or even months—in advance.

When you book during your pregnancy, I’ll reserve space around your due date. Babies rarely arrive exactly on schedule, so your session date is finalized once your little one is here. That means you don’t have to worry about finding an opening while you’re recovering, adjusting to life with a newborn, and running on very little sleep.

The sweet baby featured in today’s blog was photographed at 8 days old. Looking back at these images is a reminder of just how tiny they are for such a short time.

If you’re in your second or third trimester, now is the perfect time to reserve your newborn session. Your future self will be so thankful you planned ahead.

Ready to book? Contact me today to reserve your due date before my calendar fills.
